So, I guess the simplest way to explain her aligning with trapos is that she herself is a traditional politician. A politician's wife who ran for office. Used "tuwid na daan" as her nickname in the ballot in 2016. Ran as Mayor instead of retiring from public service after losing an election, and may keep running again. Pinaviral ang pag-aabang ng bus pero naulit ba yon while she was VP? Could have endorsed certain supposedly aligned candidates but chose not to.
I'm not saying she didn't perform well. But I'm saying she's NOT the non-traditional politician many fans insist that she is. She IS FAR from Vico Soto, who has flaws of his own, but the one I'd consider a non-trapo.
